Its small, its a SUV, Its made its debut at the Geneva motor show, its set to hit the UK maybe Australia in 2009 and its another innovation from Toyota that will be aimed at consumers that are needing a more greener and fuel efficient vehicle that can be almost multi purpose or shall I say multi tasked. Co2 emissions are the issues that the Urban cruiser from Toyota are dealing with. They expect this vehicle to achieve a lower emission than its benchmark of 140g/km. Market wise the aim will be towards the younger buyers or the two vehicle household very similar to what RAV 4 's aim was in the early 1990's.

The urban cruiser's body moldings give this vehicle a chunky robust heavy duty look, don't be deceived its only cosmetics . Off road ruggedness is well and truly towards the bottom of the list but hey you will look good in the supermarket car park. Urban cruiser geneva 2008

Well call me old fashioned I like it but I would not regard it a a 4x4 in my eyes but time is marching on and we must resign ourselves to the fact vehicles in the future will not be based on the popularity of the past.

Overall we will see a unique marketing campaign in 2008 and 2009 aimed at this vehicle and similar including alternative fuel sources and emission reductions.
