Now in 2008/2009 the Nissan Navara (referred to overseas as Titan or Frontier) range consists of a new 2.5 lt turbo diesel included in the choice of 4x4 dual cab's, King cabs and single cab models. The highlight for the 2008/2009 Nissan Navara would have to be the 2.5 lt intercooled turbo diesel engine(YD25) This little gem produces 98Kw at 3600 rpm and a nice 304 Nm of torque @ 2000 rpm. You are saying what!!! the three litre was far more in Kw.....Yes yes but consider this in two words Fuel Economy. Its a new engine 16 valve OHC with the 2nd gen common rail technology giving better fuel economy and less bad emmisions. compression ratios 16.5:1 Expect the 4x4 single cab to do 9.1L/100 km and the dual cab ST-R 9.2Lt/100km.
The drive is as good as you will get. This is a car, a ute and a off roader.With the addition now of the King cab into the Australian market expect sales to boom on this combination as they are now worldwide. Safety expect dual air bags front (extra $500 on DX), ABS.

As we evolved in the eighties 1986 to be precise the now Nissan Navara was
released. Smooth engine, comfort with power steer and air cond just sheer
luxury . the 4x4 had now become something and all manufacturers lifted
their game to produce quality vehicles.
But
what I like is the braked towing on the 4x4 model and its 2800 kg Just nice for
the van or the work trailer or even the boat. Throw in the better half and the
kids and off you go. I have lost count of how many I see from a distance
that look like the rear of a F250.
